Five tips for creating an effective sport recruitment video:

	Duration Creating a standout video, doesn’t mean you need to create a full-length movie. A compilation of 5 to 10 minutes showcasing you competing in your sport is sufficient for a coach to evaluate how you can contribute to their UK University.
	First Impressions Count Coaches often have limited time and receive a lot of e-mails. You will want to open your highlight video with some of your most impressive clips that will really capture the coach’s attention and make them want to watch the rest of your film.
	Recent Film Ensure your highlight video features your most recent footage. Coaches are interested in your current skill level and performance. Regularly update your video to reflect your latest achievements, giving coaches an accurate representation of your current capabilities. This will help to make the coaches fill reassured when deciding if you could be an asset to their team.
	Include Full Game Footage While your highlight video can initially capture the attention of UK university coaches, their interest may prompt a more thorough examination of your skills and performance before finalizing any potential scholarship offer.
