Former Play Overseas athlete, DeWan White has never given up throughout his basketball journey and recently signed his first professional contract.
We are very proud to see that our Class of 2018’s, DeWan White has just signed his first professional contract to play basketball in El Salvador. We take a look back at his journey, from his early college career to his professional debut.
University of Missouri, St. LouisDeWan started his journey at Kennedy-King College, before transferring to the University of Missouri, St. Louis where he spent two successful years as a Triton. After tearing his ACL on his Senior Day, DeWan was rehabbing his knee when we reached out to him and explained our service. By playing another season of basketball, he would be able to resurrect his basketball career while furthering his education at the same time. |
